Church World Services Mission Project
The Board of Mission & Outreach is organizing donations of Hygiene Kits and/or Cleanup Buckets. These “Kits” are collected through Church World Services to respond to those in need after a disaster. When people are forced to abruptly flee their homes because of emergencies they may not have time to pack things they use on a daily basis, or have things they need for cleanup. The kits are easy to put together and a huge boost to someone in need. The items needed for the kits are listed below. For more information you can check the CWSglobal.org website. Kits need to be at the church office by October 25th. We will deliver all kits to the Connecticut processing center for CWS. They will also accept checks or cash which we will deliver with the kits. Thank you so much for participating!

Bring your creativity, decorate your trunk, and join us for our Trunk or Treat this Halloween! Families and individuals are invited to be part of the fun by handing out treats from a festively decorated car. 4 Prizes to be awarded for the Scariest, Most Creative, Most Town Spirit, and best 1st Time Participant!

Dear Neighbor:
We’ve recently learned that the decades-old lead paint on our church building is on the verge of becoming a significant issue. The estimated cost to address it is currently$100,000 for the church building alone. If work is delayed even by a year, the cost could double.
